Etoile's Emeka Opara draws away from Africa Sport's Kassiaty Labi |
Tunisian side Etoile Sahel beat Africa Sport 2-0 at home in Group A of the Champions League on Sunday.
The win keeps Etoile second in the group, level with leaders Enyimba and six points clear of Africa Sport and Bakili Bullets - both of whom are pointless.
Playing in the Tunisian city of Sousse, the home side took an early lead through Saber Ben Frei's 10th minute penalty.
Ikechukwu Obiakor wrapped up the points and the scoring for Etoile when he fired home in the eightieth minute.
The victory is Etoile's second in as many Group A ties and like leaders Enyimba, the Tunisian side has yet to concede a goal.
Etoile's win on Sunday sets up an attractive clash with Enyimba when the Tunisians travel to Nigeria to play the reigning African champions in their next group fixture on 7 August.
Meanwhile, both Bakili Bullets and Africa Sport will be looking for their first points of the campaign when they play in the Malawian capital Blantyre the following day.
In Group B, Tunisian leaders Esperance host USMA of Algeria on 8 August while South Africa's SuperSport United, who are bottom, entertain Jeanne d'Arc of Senegal.
