 Stephen Appiah will lead Ghana against Uganda |
Ghana have named their squad to take on Uganda in the 2006 World Cup qualifying match in Kampala on Saturday.
The Black Stars squad has been training in Mozambique for the past 10 days and is due to arrive in Uganda on Friday.
The Ghana Football Association's Protocol Officer, Alexander Asante, said that the team that will once again be led by Stephen Appiah of Juventus in Italy.
The squad boasts a wealth of talent from all over Europe, including veteran Bayern Munich defender Sammy Kuffour.
Both Kuffour and Appiah were part of the Black Stars side held to a 1-1 draw by Uganda in Kumasi last year in a 2004 African Cup of Nations qualifier.
The Cranes also managed a shock win over Ghana in the opening game of the same qualifying campaign.
The US-based defender Suleiman Tenywa is likely to miss the game as the Uganda Football Association have failed to get in touch with him.
