Algeria's USMA are fighting for a third consecutive title

JS Kabylie beat Chabab Belouizdad 1-0 in Algiers to stay two points ahead of champions USMA in the closing stages of the title race.

Congo striker Willy Endzanga scored what could prove a vital goal in JS Kabylie's attempt to take the championship away from the capital.

USMA, chasing a third consecutive championship, had a narrow 1-0 win over local rivals Mouloudia Algiers. The winning goal came in the last minute of the match when substitute Hocine Metref's shot was deflected past the goalkeeper.

JS Kabylie have 54 points and USMA 52 with just four games remaining in the championship.

Entente Setif are third, 13 points behind the leaders, after they lost 2-1 at relegation-threatened CA Batna.

Meanwhile JSM Bejaia were relegated after they lost 5-1 at USM Blida.
