Fadiga is trying to revive his career |
Senegal's Khalilou Fadiga is hoping to join his compatriot El Hadji Diouf at English Premiership club Bolton Wanderers. A press officer for the club told BBC Sport: "Khalilou Fadiga has been on trial with us for the last week.
"The talks with him are ongoing but as yet no deal has been reached."
Fadiga was released by Italian side Inter Milan at the end of last season and is currently out of contract.
The 29-year-old struggled to establish himself at Inter because of abnormal heartbeat problem, that was operated on in May.
Fadiga has had spells with French clubs Auxerre and Paris St. Germain as well as Liege and Club Bruges in Belgium.
He played a major part when Senegal reached the quarter-finals at the 2002 World Cup finals.
