Antoin Koutouan is joined by fellow Ivorian Bakary Kone at Lorient |
Ivory Coast striker Bakary Kone has signed for French second division side Lorient, for an undisclosed fee, after a successful start to the season with the club. The 22 year-old has been on loan at the French club since the beginning of the season from Ivorian side Asec Mimosa, and has already scored seven league goals this season.
He has formed a formidable strike partnership with fellow Ivorian Antoin "Tony" Koutouan, also a former Asec player, who has found the net six times.
The pair have helped make Lorient the highest scoring team in the second division and lifted them to third place.
Kone arrived at Lorient with coach Christian Gourcuff from Al-Ittihad in Qatar, where the player was also on loan from Asec.
