Ismaili players celebrating
Ismaili's players will be celebrating after reaching the African Champions league final
Ismaili of Egypt easily beat Tunisia's Esperance 3-1 in Tunis to book their place in the final of the African Champions League against Enyimba of Nigeria.

The score made it 6-2 on aggregate for Ismaili as they bid to make it three Champions League titles in a row for Egypt.

Ismaili took the lead after 24 minutes through Said Mouaid who got the final touch, ahead of Ahmed Fahti, from close range after a cross into the area.

The game was effectively put beyond the home side ten minutes later when Dramane Traore picked up the ball midway in the Esperance half ran at the defence and put his shot into the bottom corner of the net.

There was a glimmer of hope for Esperance three minutes before the break when they were awarded a penalty after Ben Younes was fouled in the area, Skander Souyah pulls one back for the Tunisian side.

Just seven minutes into the second half there was a further boost for Esperance when Ismaili's Mohamed Younes recieved a second yellow card and had to leave the field.

But with Esperance pushing forward looking for a goal they were caught on the break by Ismaili and Traore chipped the ball forward for Mohamed Mohsen to score his side's third goal, 16 minutes into the second half.

With their side losing 6-2 on aggregate many Esperance fans decided they had seen enough and started leaving the stadium.

With 30 minutes left on the clock the match started tp peter out with neither side able to maintain the pace and passion of the early exchanges.

Esperance did have one more chance when Jean Marc Benie had a one on one with the Ismaili 'keeper, who denied the Tunisian player a goal.

Ismaili play Enyimba in the final, with the first leg in Nigeria over the weekend of 28-30 November and the second leg in Egypt over the weekend of 12-14 December.
