Lauren may return
Arsenal defender Lauren
Arsenal defender Lauren is considering his international future
Arsenal defender Lauren may end his international retirement saying he wants to play in the Marc-Vivien Foe charity match, on 11 November in Lyon, France.

But the Cameroonian star is unsure whether he will make a more permanent return to the Indomitable Lions.

"It will be great to play in the 11 November charity game in memory of Marc-Vivien Foe, whom we all loved," Lauren said.

Lauren was a teammate of Foe's from May 1998 until June 2002, when the Arsenal defender retired from international football.

He blamed government and football association officials for Cameroon's dismal performance at the 2002 World Cup finals in Japan and South Korea.

Although most fans would love to have Lauren back in the squad, the defender seeems undecided on whether he will rejoin German coach Winfriend Schafer's squad.

"For now I'm not sure (of joining Cameroon definitely)," the 26-year-old said.

"I still have to talk to the coach."

His fans will have to wait and see if Lauren is going to try and add to his two Nations Cups and Olympic gold medal in the future.
