Kahabuka has a three month contract |
Tanzania international Clement Kahabuka has signed a short-term deal with Simba ahead of this weekend's opening Champions League group matches. Simba secretary-general Kassim Dewji said the 26-year-old striker had put pen to paper on a three-month contract.
His acquisition follows the club's inability to get Kenyan star Dennis Oliech.
Before signing for Simba, Kahabuka played his club football in the United Arab Emirates.
Manager James Siang'a told BBC Sport website that Kahabuka had shown good form in his first match with the Tanzanian champions.
"He's a player with lots of experience, the kind of player we need for a big tournament like the Champions League," said Sianga'a.
Kahabuka said he was excited to be joining Simba, who travel to Nigeria to face Enyimba FC on Sunday.
