Egyptian veteran Hossam Hassan could stop playing for Zamalek after being involved in a dispute with their new Portuguese manager Eduardo Vingada.
Hassan was furious about the coach's decision to replace him in the Egyptian-Saudi Super Cup match against Ittihad Jeddah on Thursday.
"I am no longer interested in playing for Zamalek," he told Egyptian TV.

Vingada decided to replace Hassan and Hazem Emam after both players failed to score against the Saudis.
Although Hassan was replaced by the promising new signing Sameh Youssef in the second half, the match remained goalless.
The Egyptians won the match 2-1 on penalties.
One of Egypt's best known forwards, Hassan has not been immune from controversy.
His decision to join Zamalek from arch-rivals Al Ahly in 2000 cause shockwaves in the domestic league.
Known for his volatile temparament, Hassan has been involved in several disputes with previous managers of Ahly, Zamalek and the Egyptian national team.
In 2002, Hossam and his twin brother Ibrahim were suspended by the previous Zamalek coach Carlos Cabral.
The pair had refused to attend regular training sessions and disobeyed other club regulations.
