Aghahowa is returning from injury |
Striker Julius Aghahowa is expected to make his return to Nigeria's Super Eagles in their friendly against Venezuela in England. Aghahowa has not played for the national team since he captained the Super Eagles in last September's Nations Cup qualifying tie against Angola in Luanda.
According to Nigeria FA spokesman Samuel Kaalu, Austin 'Jay Jay' Okocha, Nwankwo Kanu and Joseph Yobo are also expected to play in the fixture.
Players from Nigeria's domestic league have not been left out, as national coach Christian Chukwu selected a dozen players, including four from Champions League side Enyimba.
The 26 July tie against the South Americans is scheduled for the Madjeski stadium, home of English First Division side Reading.
