| Aghahowa desperate for transfer ![]() Aghahowa is famous for his spectacular acrobatics Nigerian striker Julius Aghahowa says he is fed up with playing at Ukrainian side Shakhtar Donetsk and is desperate to move to one of Europe's big clubs. He has lashed out at bosses of the Ukrainian league leaders complaining that they have repeatedly failed to agree to his transfer requests. "I don't think it's fair. In the last year they refused to listen to any offer from a number of European clubs, among them, as I have heard, were Arsenal and Juventus," he is quoted as saying in saying in Russian daily 'Izvestia'.
And he said that now he had reached the end of his tether. "They failed to agree my transfer to Bolton Wanderers at the end of December. It seems to be the last straw for me." Aghahowa sprung to World fame in Korea and Japan with his trademark goal celebration of spectacular backflips. Shakhtar Donetsk are aiming for a place in the European Champions League, and are loathe to lose the Nigerian. Shakhtar president Renat Akhmetov says he rates the striker as worth a "a lot more" than $15 million. But Aghahowa told the paper: "I feel very bored and lonely in Donetsk.
