 Faria has scored three goals for Togo |
Togolese internationals Alessandro Faria and Jefferson de Souza are on trial with French club Metz. The pair began training with the first division side on Thursday and will stay for an unspecified period.
Should Metz choose to sign Faria and de Souza, they would join fellow Togolese Emmanuel Adebayor at the club.
Faria and de Souza are Brazilian-born but were recently naturalised as Togolese citizens so they could participate in their 2004 Nations Cup qualifying campaign.
Although Faria scored three goals in three games for Togo, it was not enough to take the country to next year's Nations Cup finals in Tunisia.
