Fortune got a new three year deal at United |
Quinton Fortune has been excluded from the South African squad playing England in Durban on 22 May. Fortune missed April's game against Jamaica, after saying a hip complaint could be aggravated by the long trip home.
Fortune played for Manchester United the day after withdrawing from the South African side.
National coach Ephraim Mashaba subseqently labelled the striker as "unpatriotic."
Aaron Mokoena, a defender with Belgium's Germinal Beerschot, is one of three foreign based player in the South African side.
Delron Buckley, with German side Vfl Bochum and Sibusiso Zuma of FC Copenhagen are also in the team.
World Cup captain Lucas Radebe, Shaun Bartlett and Benni McCarthy have also been ignored, after falling out with the South African Football Association.
Mashaba was unable to call up players in Denmark, Germany and Russia due to current club commitments.
The six uncapped players in the Bafana-Bafana side are reserve goalkeeper Moeneeb Josephs, midfielders Tyren Arendse, Benson Mhlongo and Jabulani Mendu and strikers David Radebe and Carlo Scott.
