Gadaffi also wants to be Caf president |
Libya's Al-Saadi Gadaffi signed a one-year deal with the Italian Serie A side Perugia on Sunday. "It's not going to be easy but it's an experience I'm looking forward to," the 30-year-old Gadaffi told reporters.
Gadaffi was at the Torre-Alfina castle of Perugia president Luciano Gaucci, where he also met a selected group of fans.
The son of the Libyan leader admitted that moving to Italy would involve major changes in his life.
"I've thought long and hard about it because I'll be living a totally different life.
"I'll be playing for a club that has seen a lot of talented players pass through its doors," he said.

Gadaffi, a vice-president of the Libyan FA, played domestic football for local club Al-Ittihad and is also seeking to be president of the Confederation of African Football.
He owns a small stake in Serie A champions Juventus and was linked with a move to buy cash-strapped Rome giants Lazio earlier this year.
Perugia's Gaucci has a reputation for signing foreign players who have gone on to become notable stars.
He signed Japan international Hidetoshi Nakata, later sold for a huge profit to AS Roma and South Korea's Ahn Jung Hwan, scorer of the golden goal that knocked Italy out of the 2002 World Cup.
