Benin win sets up crucial last clash
Tanzania 0-1 Benin

Benin
Benin will be at home for the crucial clash against Zambia
Benin beat Tanzania to set up a winner-takes all clash against Zambia in Group 3 in two weeks' time.

After the Zambians only managed a home draw with Sudan on Saturday, Benin took full advantage of their luck.

Moussoro Karibu beat two Tanzanian defenders before scoring the game's lone goal.

To their credit, the Tanzanians - bottom of the group without a point - refused to give up.

Emmanuel Gabriel came close to equalising for Tanzania but goalkeeper Rachad turned the ball round the post for a corner.

Victor Costa's subsequent close-range header was brilliantly turned away by Rachad.

This result means that Benin's home encounter against Zambia will decide the winner of the group.

Zambia need a draw against the Beninoise in Cotonou, while the hosts could qualify for their first Nations Cup if they triumph.
