Mboma now plays in Japan |
Former African Footballer of the Year Patrick Mboma is back in the Cameroon squad for the first time since the World Cup. He has been included in the 24-man squad for a tournament in Tunisia next week.
Coach Winfried Schafer recalled the striker, who now plays in Japan for Tokyo Verdy.
Three uncapped players were also called up.
They are midfielders Justice Wamfor from Belgian club Genk, Valery Mezague from Montpellier in the French first division and Falemi Ngassam, a midfielder with Steaua Bucharest.
Mezague was born in Romania but his father comes from Cameroon.
