Germany
In the Bundesliga there was a superb performance for 24-year-old Senegalese striker Mamadou-Lamine Diabang who scored a hat-trick for Armenia Bielefeld. They thrashed Borussia Moenchengladbach 4-1, with his tally rising to 10 goals this season.

England
Nigeria's Jay-Jay Okocha scored the first goal in Bolton's crucial 2-0 win over Sunderland. It puts them two points above the relegation zone.

And Cameroon's Geremi Njitap got Middlesborough's third in a 3-2 win away to Leeds.

Portugal
Mozambique's Dario Monteiro scored for Academica Coimbra against Benfica but they lost 4-1 to the Lisbon club. Another Mozambican, Armando Sa, opened the scoring for Benfica in the 11th minute.

Cameroonian Albert Ze Meyong scored the equalizer for Vitoria Setubal in their 2-2 draw with Nacional Madeira.

Spain
There were mixed blessings for two North Africans in Spain's La Liga. Tunisian Mehdi Nafti was sent-off two minutes from time as his side Racing Santander lost 2-1 to Real Sociedad.

But Moroccan defender Nourredine Naybet scored his first goal of the season for Deportivo la Coruna to seal a 2-0 win over Rayo Vallecano.

Belgium
There was the usual flurry of goals for Africans in Belgium. Burkinabe Moumouni Dagano scored in the second-half as Genk defeated Beveren 4-1 for his 10th of the season.

Congo DR striker Boeka-Lisasi scored the winner for Charleroi in the 24th minute as his side earned their first away victory defeating the leaders, Club Brugge, 2-1. However, Charleroi are still deep in relegation trouble.

Another prolific African finisher is Guinea's Sembegou Bangoura whose second-half double helped Lokeren to a 5-1 win over Gent. He has now scored 14 goals this season.

Greece
Ghanaian Peter Ofori-Quaye scored the second goal for Olympiakos as they beat Ionikos 2-0. And the Nigerian born Polish international Emmanuel Olisadebe was on target twice as Panathinaikos beat Aigaleo 3-0.

Austria
Second from bottom side Bregenz defeated SV Ried 3-1 with a late goal by Nigerian, Emmanuel Akwuegbu, the younger brother of Super Eagles striker Benedict Akwuegbu.

Turkey
Cameroonian Alioum Saidou scored his first goal for Istanbulspor, but they lost 2-1 to Galatasaray.

France
Senegalese international, Pape Bouba Diop, played his first game for French side Lens for four months. Diop came on as a substitute in his side's1-0 home defeat to Nantes on Friday after recovering from surgery on a groin injury.
