Nigeria defender Joseph Yobo is unsure about his availability for the African Nations Cup qualifier against Malawi on 30 March. Yobo, who plays in the English Premiership with Everton, said his presence depends on the agreement the Nigeria Football Association has with his club.
"I hope to play but we have to wait and see what happens.
"It depends on the discussion between the Nigeria Football Association and my club.
"But I love my country and want to do my best for the national team," Yobo told BBC Sport's James Copnall at the charity match organised by the Kanu Heart Foundation in Bolton.
The defender has received rave reviews for his sterling form in the Premiership and hopes to maintain his form.
"Football is fickle. You can't always play at the same level. But I think I am capable of doing a lot more," Yobo said.
