One of the big games will be in Dakar where Ghana's Black Queens, who were runners-up in 1998 take on the Lionesses of Senegal. It is Senegal's first participation in qualifiers for the Nations Cup which was introduced by Caf in 1998. Nigeria staged the first finals in October that same year. In the other matches, in Southern Africa, Zambia also make their bid to qualify for the first time by playing the first-leg at home to South Africa. Uganda will travel to Ethiopia; Angola will host DR Congo DR, Tanzania take on one of the most feared sides Zimbabwe at home, it will be Cameroon against Gabon in Libreville and Morocco make a trip to Mali. Nigeria will host the finals for the second time this December. Second-leg matches will be played in two weeks time.
