Northern Ireland boss Nigel Worthington believes qualifying for Euro 2012 is still achievable despite Tuesday's 0-0 draw at home to Slovenia.

Worthington's men have taken just one point from back-to-back qualifiers, having lost in Serbia on Friday.

"The energy and commitment the players have put in over the two games has been fantastic," said the NI manager.

"It is a point gained. Yes, two points lost as well, but we were playing against a good team."

Warren Feeney, recalled up front in the absence of Kyle Lafferty and David Healy, insisted they are definitely still in the mix to qualify for the finals in Poland and Ukraine.

"We have only lost one game in the group. We are not going to get down," said the Oldham forward.

"A draw was a fair result. We had a couple of chances to nick it.

"Italy are going to run away with the group but there are going to be a few teams fighting for that second place."
