Former winger Chris Waddle is excited by the individual battles on show in Sunday's derby between his former clubs Sunderland and Newcastle United.
The Magpies have Joey Barton and Kevin Nolan in their midfield ranks, while the Wearsiders can respond with Lee Cattermole and Jordan Henderson.
"There's so many tasty battles around the park," Waddle told BBC Look North.
"There's so many contests, you try to match up around the park and say 'where's the weakness?' but you can't."
Hedworth-born Waddle represented both clubs during a career which also included spells at Tottenham Hotspur, Marseille and Sheffield Wednesday, as well as playing for England.

"I know what it's like to play for both clubs, I know what it's like to stand on the terraces at both clubs," Waddle added.
"The rivalry is unbelievable, I don't know what is going to happen. You saw what happened in the first game with Newcastle winning 5-1, no-one would have predicted that.
