Peel thrash Michael United 13-0 in western derby

Premier League

Peel thrashed Michael United 13-0 in the only Canada Life International Premier League game to survive the winter freeze on Saturday.

Two goals a piece from Andrew Crennell and Lee Gale plus a Danny Bell strike gave Peel a 5-0 lead at half-time.

In the second half, Crennell, Gale and Bell completed hat-tricks with Kerron Christian, Gary Smith, Daniel Lace and Dan Hawke also finding the Michael net.

The victory sees the westerners move above DHSOB into second place.

Michael remain just one place above the relegation zone.
