Cumbers has scored seven goals for Welling this season

Welling United are through to the first round of the FA Trophy with a 1-0 win at home to Tonbridge.

Luis Cumbers scored the game's only goal on the hour mark having trapped a long kick from keeper Gareth Stewart.

Manager Jamie Day said: "It was about getting through, we were on a hiding to nothing so I'm pleased we won."

Dartford are also through after Carl Rook in each half in a 2-0 win at fellow Blue Square Bet South Thurrock.
