England Under 21s set for Euro play-off at Norwich
Pearce says his team have had some 'decent results' at Carrow Road
England Under-21s will play the first leg of their European Championship play-off against Romania at Carrow Road in Norwich next month.
Stuart Pearce's side will be at home on Friday 8 October before travelling to Romania on Tuesday 12 October.
A place at the finals in Denmark next summer is up for grabs after they qualified for the play-offs as one of the four best-placed group runners-up.
Pearce said he was looking forward to Carrow Road's "passionate support".
"The game is massive for England and massive for our young players to give them some cutting edge experience of big international football matches at a great venue," added Pearce.
"We've had some decent results at Norwich before. The atmosphere they create at Carrow Road, where the fans are really tight in to the pitch, generates some great noise and we'll want to recreate that with a big crowd there.
"We're looking forward to the game but we know it's going to be tough.
"The Romanians have qualified strongly against some good opposition so we'll need to be really well supported on the night."
