Kent football results and summary

Non League

Ryman League leaders Dartford are still without a win since New Year's Day after losing 2-0 to Sutton.

A goal in each half was enough to condemn Dartford to just their third league defeat of the season and ensure Kingstonian cut their lead at the top to seven points.

Welling had one of the best results as they came from 2-0 down to draw 2-2 with Blue Square South leaders Newport County.

Folkestone Invicta ended a troubled week during which they accepted a 10-point penalty by beating Walton Casuals.

Folkestone were eight points clear at the top of the table on Friday morning but entered a creditors agreement with HM Revenue and Customs which means an automatic points penalty.

It means they drop to fourth place in Ryman League South, but the news was cushioned by their 1-0 victory, secured thanks to James Everitt's late goal.

Manager Neil Cugley told BBC Radio Kent: "The players have been a credit. They could have easily said 'What's the point?' but they haven't, they carried on as normal."
