St Martins have closed the gap on second-placed Northerners to one point after beating them 3-2 on Tuesday.
Former North winger Glyn Dyer opened the scoring for Saints, before two goals from North's Simon Tostevin gave the home side a 2-1 lead.
Saints drew level through a Rob Pickford strike, before Luke Winch scored the winning goal.
St Martins now have now have 21 points from nine games, whilst North remain on 22 points having played two games more.
League leaders Belgrave Wanderers are currently on 27 points after 11 matches.
