Jersey boss John Welsh says his team are ready to face the Essex Olympian League in their National League Systems Cup tie on Saturday.
Essex had an emphatic 9-2 victory over the Worthing & District League in the first round in September.
Welsh told BBC Jersey: "We're focused on what we've got to do both offensively and defensively.
"I think this is as good a Jersey side as we've had for a few years and we're very confident."
Since the squad was announced in mid November there have been numerous changes due to injury and work commitments.
St Paul's pair Dave Watson and Craig Russell, Craig Fletcher from Jersey Scottish, Luke Campbell from Jersey Wanderers and the Grouville duo Russell Le Feuvre and Joel Speight are all missing from the original line-up.
Gary Lloyd from Grouville, First Tower United's Sam Dewhurst and Neal Crowell of St Peter all come into the 16-man squad.
The eventual winners of the cup will go on to represent the Football Association in the European stages of the League Systems Cup.
The FA National League System Cup Round Two will be held at AFC Hornchurch in Essex.
Kick off is at 1500 GMT.
