Jersey's Football Combination team face Wiltshire on Saturday in the FA National League Systems Cup.
The FA-run competition features teams from leagues across the UK, with the winners progressing to represent the FA in the European Leagues section.
Jersey's manager Jon Welsh said his team look strong and intend challenging for the title.
He told BBC Sport: "We go with a certain amount of confidence having won gold at the Island Games in June."
"We don't know anything about Wiltshire, but we shouldn't concern ourselves with them and just need to be prepared ourselves," he added.
"We are expecting a very competitive game and have prepared accordingly."
Welsh has named nine players from St Paul's in his 16-man squad for the game, which starts at 1500 BST at Swindon Supermarine.
