2029: "The Russians call C.S.K.A. Cs'ka', little bit of trivia - difficult to express in a text." Anon via text on 81111
2028: Mark Schwarzer tips over Dimitar Berbatov's header as United threaten a second.
2025: Carlos Tevez slots in Dimitar Berbatov's through-ball but the Argentine is marginally offside.
2025: GOAL Aston Villa 1-1 CSKA Moscow The chance appears to have gone when no-one is on the end of Ashley Young's dangerous ball across the box but Craig Gardner picks it up on the right and sets up John Carew to lash in a deserved equaliser for Villa.
2022: Cristiano Ronaldo's fierce shot is saved by Mark Schwarzer. As if Fulham's task wasn't stiff enough already, what with Manchester United's defence being pretty much unbeatable these days, but United have not lost a league game in which Paul Scholes has scored since 2001.
2021: David Beckham's AC Milan take the lead at Werder Bremen thanks to Super Pippo Inzaghi - in the side because of Alex Pato's injury. Beckham is on the bench. Did I mention that?
2020: Desperate scramble in the Fulham box and Aaron Hughes has to clear off the line from Dimitar Berbatov after another Mark Schwarzer mistake.
2019: Bobby Zamora almost breaches the United defence, heading narrowly wide from John Pantsil's cross.
2018: More news from Old Trafford... Carlos Tevez has had a haircut. He's still kept a bit of length but no longer requires the hairband. Let's be honest though, Vagner Love's blue barnet is the only hair worth talking about this evening.
2013: Shouts for handball at Villa Park as Craig Gardner's header hits the defender's arm from close range. A penalty might have been harsh.
2013: GOAL Man Utd 1-0 Fulham Oh dear. Michael Carrick plays a corner straight to Paul Scholes about 25 yards out. His shot is well struck - as you would expect - but keeper Mark Schwarzer should still deal with it. He spills it though and the ball dribbles over the line. First league goal of the season for Scholes.
2009: Craig Gardner heads onto the top of the crossbar from a corner as Villa agonisingly close to an equaliser. He urges the home fans to increase the noise - which they do.
2008: Quiet start at Old Trafford... ooh, just as I type that, John O'Shea volleys over the bar.
2005: Yuri Zhirkov sends a shot zipping over the bar for CSKA. Euro Two Thousand and Great fans will have fond memories of Zhirkov, one of the stars of that brilliant Russian side.
2001: Manchester United kick off the first half at Old Trafford. Villa get the second-half under way at Villa Park. Almost at the same time, but not quite.
2000: Good flag-waving from the Villa fans as the teams come back out at Villa Park. Not enough flags in football these days.
1957: Here come the teams at Old Trafford, Sir Alex Ferguson following and shaking hands with a few lucky fans on his way out.
1954: "Re 1941: No chance! Danny Murphy has a reputation for getting winning goals at Old Trafford, doing it three times in four seasons when at Liverpool. My money tonight's on one of his trademark free kicks." Frankie, Sheffield via text on 81111
1953: Not long to go until kick-off at Old Trafford where Manchester United are seeking their 10th successive win. Fulham haven't won away in the league all season.
1952: "Vagner Love has a very distinctive look and he's a very distinctive player. He's playing up front on his own, with Alan Dzagoev behind him looking to link the play, and he's giving Zat Knight and Curtis Davies no time at all." Tim Flowers on BBC 5 Live
1949: I can't wait to watch a replay of that Vagner Love goal. It was an absolute beauty. A killer for Villa too, as Martin O'Neill's side probably had the better of the half.
1945: HALF-TIME Aston Villa 0-1 CSKA Moscow
1942: Ashley Young seems to be running more freely now. An injury to the England winger is the last thing Villa need.
1941: "Just met Danny Murphy about an hour ago outside the Fulham team hotel. He didn't look like a happy bunny. Maybe worried about a United drubbing?" Amir via text on 81111
1940: Aleksei Berezutski drags Ashley Young off the ball and is rather fortunate not to follow Petrov into the book. The winger is hobbling badly and decides he can't take the free-kick. Worrying sign for Villa.
1938: Stiliyan Petrov is penalised for a body-check on Milos Krasic - and is so angry he kicks the ball away, earning himself a yellow card. Silly.
1935: St Etienne win 3-1 at Olympiacos to put one foot into the next round - where AC Milan or Werder Bremen will be waiting.
1932: Ashley Young crosses right-footed this time, an inswinger which John Carew heads onto the roof of the net.
1930: For the second game in a row, Gabby Agbonlahor misses what looks like an easy header. Ashley Young delivers a fizzing cross from the left but the ball just glances off Agbonlahor's head. He missed a very similar one against Everton in the FA Cup.
1928: It's just like watching Brazil at Villa Park. Or it's like Brazil is watching at Villa Park. As well as coach Zico, CSKA have three Brazilians on the bench and assistant coach Edu, who is Zico's brother by the way.
1926: "That Fulham team seems pretty poor, but at least it's our game in hand. Having Baird and Gera in the midfield is shocking." KerchFFC on 606 Join the debate on 606
1925: TEAM NEWS Man Utd v Fulham Manchester United striker Wayne Rooney is among the subs but Nemanja Vidic, Paul Scholes and Carlos Tevez are promoted from the bench after being rested for the FA Cup win over Derby. Ryan Giggs is rested and not in the squad. Fulham striker Andy Johnson has failed in his battle to be fit for the game and Bobby Zamora will play as a lone striker. Left-back Paul Konchesky is also out and Toni Kallio comes in for him.
1923: TEAMS Man Utd v Fulham Man Utd: Van der Sar, O'Shea, Ferdinand, Vidic, Evra, Ronaldo, Carrick, Scholes, Park, Berbatov, Tevez. Subs: Kuszczak, Rooney, Nani, Rafael Da Silva, Evans, Fletcher, Gibson. Fulham: Schwarzer, Pantsil, Hangeland, Hughes, Kallio, Baird, Gera, Murphy, Davies, Dempsey, Zamora. Subs: Zuberbuhler, Nevland, Dacourt, Gray, Milsom, Brown, Smalling.
1921: Ashley Young waits for the overlap from Nicky Shorey and it's a good cross from the left-back - right into the mixer - but the keeper is out quickly to smother the ball.
1919: "Re 1911: I hope Moyesy is watching Vagner Love. We've been linked with him the last few transfer windows. Not that we need a striker to win games." Anon via text on 81111
1913: GOAL Aston Villa 0-1 CSKA Moscow What a goal that is. Vagner Love beats Gareth Barry with ease before playing a one-two with Alan Dzagoev and sprinting forward for the return. He easily outpaces the defenders before slotting past Brad Guzan. Brilliant.
1913: In case you didn't already know, CSKA's star striker Vagner Love has blue, dreadlocked hair. It's ludicrous... but I like it. Djibril Cisse will be looking at that with tears in his eyes.
1911: Blimey. Anyone who's anyone is at Villa Park tonight. Well, David Moyes is anyway. Wonder what he's up to?
1910: Promising free-kick for Villa but Ashley Young blasts it straight into the arms of keeper Igor Akinfeev.
1908: Bezzy mates Guus Hiddink and Roman Abramovich are at the game tonight. Chelsea face Villa in Saturday's early kick-off.
1905: David Beckham is on the bench for AC Milan so I won't be bothering to bring you updates of Werder Bremen v Milan. I'm joking of course. I will try to keep you up to date with all the Uefa Cup action tonight.
1904: CSKA lose the ball in midfield and Gabby Agbonlahor sprints away with it but a heavy touch just at the wrong time allows the defence to recover. A big warning sign for CSKA though.
1902: Shaky defending by the visitors and Villa have an early corner. Decent delivery but a CSKA defender gets his head there first.
1901: "Re 1815: Why not call it the 'Premefa Lup' or am I trying too hard?" Henry in Manchester, via text on 81111
1859: No hanging about... they're off!
1855: The Villa mascot is happily chatting away to skipper Gareth Barry like they've been friends for years. Maybe they have. Out come the teams and it sounds like a decent atmosphere at Villa Park.
1853: "Their manager's been one of the best players to ever play the game. Thankfully he is not playing today. CSKA haven't played a competitive game for a while, but they will be fresh, rejuvenated and they are a class team." Aston Villa boss Martin O'Neill
1849: Tricky decision for you people: clearly football is far superior to cricket, but the dashing Sam Lyon is text commentating on the third Test between England and the Windies... Live text - West Indies v England
1847: TEAM NEWS Aston Villa v CSKA Moscow Aston Villa manager Martin O'Neill makes three changes from the side beaten by Everton in the FA Cup, with Gareth Barry coming in for the suspended Steve Sidwell, Nick Shorey recalled in place of James Milner, who has a thigh injury, and Brad Guzan taking over from Brad Friedel in goal. Striker Vagner Love is included in the CSKA line-up, but fellow Brazilian Daniel Carvalho has to settle for a place on the bench.
1846: TEAMS Aston Villa v CSKA Moscow Aston Villa: Guzan, Luke Young, Davies, Knight, Shorey, Gardner, Petrov, Barry, Ashley Young, Carew, Agbonlahor. Subs: Friedel, Bannan, Salifou, Lowry, Albrighton, Harewood, Delfouneso. CSKA Moscow: Akinfeev, Ignashevich, Alexei Berezutsky, Vasili Berezutsky, Shchennikov, Dzagoev, Krasic, Zhirkov, Aldonin, Rahimic, Vagner Love. Subs: Pomazan, Ramon, Daniel Carvalho, Mamaev, Ricardo Jesus, Odiah, Erkin.
1844: Still an hour and a quarter until Manchester United kick off against Fulham, looking to extend their lead to five points. And let's get this out of the way: Edwin van der Sar can't break any more records tonight. He has the English and British records for consecutive clean sheets but he is one game and 88 minutes off the European record held by Dany Verlinden of Club Bruges.
1839: CSKA boast the Uefa Cup's top scorer in Vagner Love, who has netted eight times. They are also boosted by the return to form and fitness of Daniel Carvalho, who was the star man when CSKA won the Uefa Cup in 2005. Only two of Villa's players have scored more than once: Gareth Barry and Nathan Delfouneso.
1835: Early team news for you: no Brad Friedel or James Milner for Villa.
1832: "It would be much appreciated if you could give all the scores from tonight's games except the Villa one as I'm keeping an eye on the scores but have sky + the game and don't want to hear the score. Any chance?" Anon via text on 81111 Er... no
1829: Villa are up against a team who haven't played a competitive match since November and who are under a new manager in the shape of Brazilian legend Zico.
1826: Uefa Cup action is already under way. Serhiy Kravchenko has just this minute equalised for Dynamo Kiev against Valencia - for whom David Silva opening the scoring. St Etienne are 2-0 up at Olympiacos and Zenit St Petersburg are 2-1 ahead against Stuttgart.
1821: "I love football. That being the case, I want Fulham to beat Man Utd tonight so the title race gets a little more interesting. That said, I can't see it happening." TigerGreaves on 606 Join the debate on 606
