Telford United's record goalscorer Jack Bentley has been named as the first player to be inducted into the club's new "Hall of Fame".
Bentley scored 431 goals in a 14-year spell at Telford in the 1960s and 70s.
Three other former Bucks will also be chosen for this inaugural year, as the club seeks to mark the contributions of its stars of the past.
"There are so many legends associated with the club, and we should honour them," said spokesman Jonathan Martin.
"They have all have played a huge part in the history of the club and we will be proud to recognise their achievements at a special event in November.
"We will announce the other three legends to be inducted over the next few weeks, but they will all have played a huge part in the history of the club and we will be proud to recognise their achievements on 26 November."
Jim Bentley will accept the award on behalf of his late father.
