President Peat has been criticised for his part in the SFA youth row
The Scottish FA board is to reconsider the cases of the three clubs who were excluded from the top level of their youth initiative.
Dundee, Dunfermline Athletic and Ross County were refused entry after failing to meet SFA criteria.
County and Dunfermline failed to meet child protection requirements while Dundee were excluded for lacking a second youth licence holder.
The 12-man board had the case referred to them last week by the SFA council.
The clubs are currently pursuing legal action over the matter and say, if next week's hearing goes against them, they will pursue their case through the courts.
The Scottish Government has previously been asked to investigate the matter, while the chairmen of Dunfermline and County called for SFA president George Peat to consider his position.
