St Paul's beat second-placed Trinity 2-1 to move into pole position to take the Jersey Coca-Cola Football Combination title. Top-of-the-league St Paul's made a great start at Clos de Pauvres with two goals in the first 15 minutes from Craig Leitch and Dave Watson.
Lee Jones scored for Trinity in the second half with 30 minutes left.
By giving Trinity their first defeat of the season St Paul's opened a two-point gap at the top of the league.

Doomed First Tower could take some comfort in their first point of the season.
They drew 2-2 with Rozel Rovers thanks to a Jody MacCarthy penalty and an own goal.
Scott Healey scored for Rovers and Paul Lennon grabbed the equaliser in injury time.
Jersey Wanderers eased their relegation fears with a 2-0 win over St Peter courtesy of an own goal and Liam Sutton.
Jersey Scottish moved into second place after winning 3-2 at Le Boulivot and putting Grouville dangerously close to the drop zone.
