Hereford have reached an undisclosed settlement with Rushden & Diamonds over the transfer of Phil Gulliver. He recently joined the Bulls after two years with the Diamonds, but as he is under 24 and was offered a new deal, Rushden were entitled to compensation.
However, an "agreement acceptable to all parties" has now been signed, and Gulliver, 23, has returned to Hereford.
The Bulls have also announced the signing of 21-year-old defender Trent McClenahan from West Ham.
The Australian had spent two loan spells at Milton Keynes Dons during the past two seasons, but did not start a league match for the Hammers.
