Rushden & Diamonds have signed former Middlesbrough pair Phil Gulliver and Craig Dove. Central defender Gulliver, 21, has signed a two-year deal, while attacking midfielder Dove, 20, has penned an initial 12-month contract.
The duo were released by the Teessiders at the end of last season.
Boss Ernie Tippett has also given a trial to goalkeepers Lee Worgan, who was at Wimbledon, and James Jowsey, who was released by Manchester United.
