David Beckham is reportedly ready to commit his future to Real Madrid. Beckham, 30, is set to hold a second meeting with president Florentino Perez where he will discuss a new deal to keep him at Real until 2009.
The England captain told sports paper Marca: "I'm playing for the best club in the world and my desire is to continue to do that.
"I feel very happy in Spain and at Real Madrid and I want to win titles with this club," added Beckham.
Beckham admitted that his settled domestic situation was instrumental in him seeking a deal which will see him end his playing days in Spain.
The England skipper said: "A big part of my decision to stay in Madrid beyond 2007, when my current contract ends, was my family.
"My wife and children love life in Spain and because of that I'm very happy at Real Madrid."
"Their support has been essential in planning our lives here. They've encouraged me a lot."
Beckham joined Real Madrid in July 2003 from Manchester United for �25m.
