Roy Coyle's Glentoran face Shels on Wednesday at the Oval |
Glentoran seem certain to be without Gavin Melaugh in Wednesday's Champions League qualifier first leg against Shelbourne at the Oval. Midfielder Melaugh aggravated a knee injury in last weekend's friendly against TNS in Wales.
Centre-back Chris Walker (ankle) and Sean Ward (knee) are also minor fitness worries for Glens boss Roy Coyle.
The Glentoran manager will travel to Dublin to watch Shelbourne in action against St Pat's on Friday evening.
Coyle travelled to Tolka Park to see his old club Derry City beat Shels last Friday.
The first leg will be refereed by Greek official Georgios Kaznaferis who caused uproar when took charge of the Republic of Ireland's World Cup qualifier against Israel at Lansdowne Road in June.
Shelbourne came close to qualifying for the group stages last season, losing to Deportivo La Coruna.
