Roy Coyle's Glentoran will face Shelbourne in the Champions League |
Glentoran have been drawn to face Shelbourne in the first qualifying round of the Champions League. The Irish League champions came out of the hat first so the first leg will be played at the Oval on 12/13 July.
The second leg is scheduled for Tolka Park, Dublin, on 19/20 July, with the winners playing Steaua Bucharest in the second round.
Shelbourne came close to qualifying for the group stages last season, losing to Deportivo La Coruna.
The last time the champions from North and South of the border met was in 1984 when Linfield played Shamrock Rovers in the European Cup.
