After failing to sign Jonathan Woodgate, Marseille's �8m-rated defender Daniel van Buyten has emerged as Sir Bobby Robson's second-choice solution to Newcastle's defensive problems. The 24-year-old Belgian is reported to be keen on a move to England. (Daily Mail)
