Liverpool's Jerzy Dudek has added his name to the roll of dishonour for calamity keepers after his mistake against Manchester United - here BBC Sport Online looks at some other high-profile blunders.
Jerzy Dudek:Liverpool v Man Utd at Anfield - December 2002
The Poland international - who has been hailed as the Premiership's most reliable goalkeeper - capped a miserable catalogue of errors by allowing Jamie Carragher's header to slip through his hands and legs to gift Diego Forlan his first goal in United's 2-1 win.
Artistic Impression
All the basic errors come together in one nightmare moment. Dudek's concentration fails him, along with his hands and legs, as the ball somehow squirms from his grasp, through his body and into the path of a startled Forlan.

Peter Enckelman:Birmingham v Aston Villa at St Andrews - September 2002
Villa's Finnish keeper allows Olof Mellberg's throw in to slip under his foot and roll into the unguarded net to give their rivals a second goal in a 3-0 win.
Artistic Impression
Eye off the ball for Enckelman as the mind wanders to his next move before completing his first task. Enckeman's embarrassment was increased by his vain Keystone Kops-style vain chase to rescue his calamity.

David Seaman:Various for Arsenal and England between May 1995 and October 2002
From Nayim's halfway line strike for Valencia in the European Cup Winners' Cup Final in Paris, to Shizuoka and the World Cup quarter-final defeat against Brazil and at Southampton in England's Euro 2004 qualifier against Macedonia - all human error is there.
Artistic Impression
The judges would be harsh on a leaden-footed style, usually followed by a trademark tumble into the back of the net and a shake of the embarrassing pony tail. All goals have marked out Seaman as a man less-than-light on his feet.

Fabien Barthez:Man Utd v Deportivo La Coruna at Old Trafford - October 2001
Double despair for the Frenchman as he blunders with Wes Brown to gift Sergio a goal, then charges from his area to intercept a ball Brown has covered for Diego Tristan's winner.
Artistic Impression
All mess-ups covered here as Barthez mixes bad judgment with general goalkeeping buffoonery, ignoring the ball for the first mistake and deserting his post in disastrous fashion as he demonstrates his second example of high farce in a 3-2 Champions League defeat.

Massimo Taibi:Man Utd v Southampton at Old Trafford - September 1999
How do you make a Venetian blind? Pay 4.5m for him and stick him in goal for Manchester United. It's a corny line, but there was a grain of truth in it as comedy keeper Taibi's howler let Matthew Le Tissier score in a 3-3 draw.
Artistic Impression
All the essential ingredients are there as Taibi's brief four-game stay at Old Trafford produced its most memorable moment. Taibi looked, rather like Dudek, to have all angles covered until Le Tissier's 25-yard daisy cutter suddenly appeared behind him in the back of the net. The beginning of the end for Taibi - or the end of the beginning given his swift consignment to the Old Trafford dustbin.
