George is content with unbeaten run
Two first-half goals were enough to give Cambridge all three points in a 2-0 win over struggling Ebbsfleet.
Peter Winn forced visiting keeper Preston Edwards into a smart save with a bullet header in the fifth minute.
But Winn quickly went one better on 10 minutes when he drilled home a left-foot shot from 12 yards.
The U's continued to dominate and, after Edwards had denied Luke Berry and Ashley Carew, Kevin Roberts' header struck a post before Tom Shaw followed up to fire his shot into the bottom corner.
Callum Willock should have grabbed a consolation in the second half but he headed over.
