Jersey's youngsters proved to be the star showing at the Island's Senior Fencing Championships.

Richard Bernstein, 14, won both the epee event and the Master at Arms Trophy, having been the highest placed fencer across the three disciplines.

Bernstein's older brother Jonathan, 18, took the honours in the sabre discipline, with Steve Cooke in second.

In the foil competition, the top prize went to 14-year-old Michael Hill, who finished ahead of Ed Christie.
