Bollinger made his Test debut against South Africa |
Bowler Doug Bollinger is to replace the injured Nathan Bracken in Australia's Champions Trophy squad. With seamer Bracken ruled out by a knee injury, the International Cricket Council's technical body approved the request for Bollinger as a replacement. The 28-year-old fast bowler made his Test debut for Australia against South Africa at Sydney earlier this year. In the second of the three one-day internationals against Pakistan in Abu Dhabi, Bollinger took 5-35. Australia play their first game of the tournament against West Indies on Saturday. | 606: DEBATE |
Bracken, 32, has taken 174 wickets in 116 one-day internationals, but has played only five Tests. He took seven wickets at an average of 35.14 in Australia's 6-1 thrashing of England in their recent ODI series.
