Franklin scored 904 runs and took 31 wickets in the County Championship |
Gloucestershire have signed James Franklin to be their overseas player for 2010, subject to clearance from New Zealand Cricket. The 28-year-old has finished his season in England after being called up by New Zealand for the ICC Champions Trophy. "I am delighted to be coming back for another year, I am already looking forward to 2010," Franklin said. "It is very pleasing that James has re-signed for the 2010 season," added director of cricket John Bracewell. "He has demonstrated his international class with both bat and ball throughout the year and his desire to share his international knowledge with the youth of the club." "His consistency of performance and behaviour on and off the field provides a great cornerstone for the growth and development of our young team," added Bracewell.
