Nick Compton continued his good form as England A won the second one-day game against Bangladesh in Mirpur by six wickets, and the three-match series.

Alex Gidman took 5-42 and Stuart Broad 3-33 as the hosts were dismissed for 177, Nazim Uddin top-scoring with 58.

Will Jefferson scored 40 at the top of the order for England while Compton struck 64 from 84 deliveries.

Wicket-keeper Matt Prior hit a patient 34 before Gidman saw England home with 14 overs to spare with an unbeaten 21.
