Prior inspires England A success
One-day match, Bogra: England A 263-5 (47 ovs) bt Bangladesh A 261-8 (50 ovs)

Matt Prior
Prior has played 12 full one-day internationals for England

England A won the first of the three match one-day series against Bangladesh A with a five-wicket success in Bogra.

Sussex wicketkeeper Matt Prior slammed an unbeaten 84 featuring three sixes to lead the tourists to their target of 262 with three overs remaining.

Will Jefferson set the tone with nine fours and two sixes in his 68.

Earlier James Kirtley had a difficult introduction having been drafted in to replace Amjad Khan, with 0-61 from nine overs as the home side chose to bat.

Nazim Uddin's century, plus Farhad Reza's enterprising 41 from 26 balls containing five fours and a six gave Bangladesh a useful total.

But after cameos from Nick Compton and skipper Michael Yardy, young Worcestershire keeper Steven Davies joined Prior to share an unbroken 80 and seal victory for England, who won the Test series 1-0.
