Hampshire's Michael Carberry hit a century and retired on the final day of England A's drawn match against Bangladesh's Academy in Mirpur.

Carberry hit exactly 100 opening the batting, and put on 122 for the second wicket with young Worcestershire wicket-keeper Steven Davies (67).

England A, in their first tour match, had earned a one-run lead on first innings, before adding 226-3.

They did not have enough time to bowl out the hosts, who finished on 56-5.

Durham's Graeme Onions took 3-30 in the 20-over session available to England's bowlers late in the match.

England A's next match is a four-day affair against Bangladesh A in the same city.
