Michael Vaughan takes on advisory role at Yorkshire

Former England captain Michael Vaughan will return to Yorkshire in an advisory role following his retirement from the Tykes last season.

The 35-year-old will mentor captain Andrew Gale and will also be involved in overseas recruitment.

Yorkshire director of cricket Martyn Moxon said: "I'm keen to utilise his extensive experience to help us to develop our exciting young talent."

Over a nine year career, Vaughan scored 5,719 runs in 82 tests for England.
