Wicket keeper Ben Scott has also scored useful runs for Worcestershire |
Worcestershire's on-loan Middlesex wicketkeeper Ben Scott admits that he is enjoying his stay at New Road. The 29-year-old has fitted in well at Worcester but knows that his loan could be ended at any time. "At the moment I am loving my cricket here and we are doing particularly well in the four-day game," Scott told BBC Hereford and Worcester. "We have struggled in one-day cricket but there's not much experience in the side, although there is talent." Scott is still on loan from Middlesex while talented youngster Ben Cox completes his A-Level studies. Scott has impressed with his glove work and has contributed three half-centuries including 98 against Sussex at Hove. His loan could end at any time as Middlesex have a clause that could see him recalled to Lord's, but he says the chance to play at New Road has worked out well for him. "It really is day by day and we'll just see where we are," he said. "But they are a great bunch of lads and we enjoy each other's company."
