Worcestershire coach Rhodes opposed to further changes

Steve Rhodes wants more time for players to work on their skills

Worcestershire director of cricket Steve Rhodes says he sees no point in further changes to domestic cricket unless it benefits the players.

"I would carry on with what we are doing - although I understand the desire to play less cricket," he told BBC Hereford & Worcester.

"We go from four-day into one-day and then Twenty20 so it can be difficult to review and prepare for the next match."

"I have looked at proposals and I'm not happy with any of them," he said.

Rhodes conceded that the England and Wales Cricket Board will always struggle to please everyone.

"Should someone come up with a formula that I am happy with, and that would give us that time off, then I would be willing to change," he added.

"But at the moment I don't see one that's suitable so let's just crack on and put up with the problem of not being able to review and prepare.

"We are still managing to entertain the crowds so we will get on and make do with what we have at the moment."
