Steve Rhodes' team have struggled in this year's Twenty 20. |
Worcestershire director of cricket Steve Rhodes says spirits remain high despite their poor Twenty20 Cup run. His team's run of five straight defeats has disappointed him, but Rhodes says there is still plenty to play for. "The dressing room won't need any lifting, as there's enough pride to pull us through," he told BBC Hereford and Worcester. "We all want to win, and we've got three more games, so that's what we're going to try to achieve." Worcestershire take on Northamptonshire at New Road in their next Mid/West/Wales Division group match on Tuesday night (1730 BST), then head for Bristol to take on Gloucestershire on Wednesday (1730 BST) and finish this year's campaign with another home game against Glamorgan on Friday night (1730 BST).
